Bright blue contacts link suspect to New Kensington home invasion
Police are looking for two men accused of robbing a Westmoreland County home and attacking the people inside.
Authorities said one of the suspects had an assault rifle when the men broke into a house on 7th Street in New Kensington on Jan. 25.
Police said one of the suspects accused is Ian Johnson, 21. According to police, Johnson was wearing bright blue contacts at the time and that helped authorities identify him.
“I’d say the guys were in the house for almost an hour,” a mother who was inside the house said. “They were playing around and taking it like it was a joke.”
The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the suspects attacked two 18-year-old boys and sexually assaulted her daughter.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
