Family and friends gathered at Valley High School in New Kensington Saturday afternoon to welcome home members of the 307th Army Reserve Unit.

All 104 members of the unit returned around 3 p.m. and were greeted by loved ones. The event was organized by “Cookies for our Troops.”

The military police group spent a year-long tour of duty in Afghanistan.
